Why is the heart troubled so?

Will the world meet its final blow?

With these thoughts, no gain is found,

Humanity ponders, can it be bound?

The answer echoes a resounding “no,”

So what’s the use of dwelling, to and fro?

In the year two thousand, EM I, California’s dread,

An astrophysicist has said:

A star devours a neighboring sphere,

In a cosmic feast, its presence clear.

Not stolen, but gently taken away,

The astrophysicist witnessed this astral play.

A planet amidst the starry sea,

Gone from its host, yet shining free.

Time will pass, stars will wane,

One day, these luminous beings will wane.

At that time, the nearby planet’s fate,

In the star’s belly, it will gestate.

Astrologers’ research, it’s been disclosed,

Five billion years from now proposed,

Earth will be held in the Sun’s embrace,

As the Sun expands in cosmic grace.

The sun’s hopeful journey takes flight,

First Mars, then Venus, in its warming light.

Finally, it will reach our Earth’s domain,

Worry not, leave behind the strain.

Even calculations sometimes err,

So now, let laughter and joy confer.
