In Satara’s embrace, where dreams unfold,
A tale of triumph, young Aditi Swami told.
Just seventeen, with a heart so bold,
Daughter of a Math’s teacher, a story to be told.
Gopichand, her father, a guide so true,
From a nearby village, to Satara they flew.
To Shahu Stadium, destiny’s preview,
A legacy of archery, a passion she knew.
At twelve, the city’s vibrant beat,
Introduced her to sports, a choice so neat.
In a corner, where arrows greet,
Archery’s call, her heart did meet.
Coach Pravin Sawant, in fields of cane,
A mentor’s touch, in sun and rain.
In the sugar cane’s golden terrain,
Aditi’s journey began, free from chain.
World Archery beckoned, in 2023’s embrace,
A champion’s spirit, the youngest to grace.
Compound Women’s final, a gold-laden chase,
India’s pride, in that sacred space.
A trailblazer, breaking barriers with might,
In the World Cup era, post-2006’s light.
Gold medals gleamed, in youth’s delight,
A radiant star in the archery night.
Asian Games of 2022, she soared,
In the winning team, her prowess roared.
With Jyothi and Parneet, a bond restored,
In history’s pages, their names adored.
Arjuna’s honor, bestowed from high,
By the President’s hand, in the Indian sky.
Aditi Swami, a bow-wielding spy,
Unfurling glory, reaching for the sky.
A daughter’s journey, a father’s pride,
In the world of archery, side by side.
Satara’s gem, with dreams so wide,
Aditi Swami, forever in stride.
