Children’s Day, a global song, In different tunes, we all belong. In Geneva’s halls, ’25 did see, A proclamation for children’s glee. June first, a universal theme, In many hearts, a vivid dream. Yet, in November’s embrace, a world decree, The UN Charter’s melody for you and me. Declaration sung on the twentieth day, Children’s rights, in bright array. In India’s grace, on the fourteenth of November, A special ode for children, to remember. Jawaharlal Nehru’s heart did sway, For the children’s future, he’d brightly say.…
